Email (Out) Tab

Here you can setup SMTP or Outgoing Email. Create, Modify, Delete SMTP Accounts. You need at least one SMTP Account to Send Email through the program.

Description
The Name of the Account.

Server
Address of this Accounts SMTP Server it will use. ex: smtp.somenet.com

User ID
This is the ID to log into the SMTP Server. ex: user12

Password
This the password to log into the SMTP Server.

Sender Address
The Email Address you want used as the Email Sender.

Sender Name
The Name you want used as the person Sending the Email.

Port #
The Port # to use.

Max # Sent per Login
This value represents the maximum # of emails sent at once per login. If you need to send more the program will automatically logout and login back in. This gets around the issue of ISP's restricting the # of emails that can be sent each per login. This value defaults to 10.

Default Signature
If you have defined any signatures you can select the default signature to use for this Account.

Copy Original Text on Reply
If this is checked then hitting the reply button in the Email Window will copy the original Email when Replying.

Reply Delimeter
If Copy Original Text on Reply is checked, This character will be used placed in front of each line in the original Email text.
